Alexis Drakopoulos
Machine Learning Engineer
Alexis works as a Machine Learning Engineer at WovenLight. In his role, he is focused on the development and deployment of reusable ML solutions which both drive value creation at WovenLight portfolio companies and enhance WovenLight investment processes.
Alexis previously worked as a Research Engineer in a Cambridge University spinoff, where he focused on ML Systems development as well as AI guided Design of Experiments. Prior to that, he worked on deep metric learning in Computer Vision.
Alexis holds an MSc in Computational Applied Mathematics from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Mathematics & Physics from the University of Strathclyde.
WovenLight's approach to reusable & modular data-science tooling results in a snowball effect and thus exponentially increases our capabilities and the impact we can have on value creation over time. I hope my work will contribute significantly to the snowball's mass!
